With the 4×4 Jeep, we access a different track, leading us to a viewpoint that offers the best possible spot to admire the sunrise. While we don’t reach the peak as you would with a regular trek, the location we visit provides incredible views of both Mount Batur and Lake Batur, making it an unforgettable experience.

The Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep 4×4 program begins early in the morning, with our tour driver picking you up at 3:00 AM. If you are staying in Ubud, the pickup time will be 3:30 AM. From there, we will head straight to the Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep starting point.
Upon arrival, you are prepare for the adventure and hop into a 4×4 Jeep, which will take you on an exciting journey to the sunrise viewpoint. As you ride, you’ll enjoy the beauty of the landscape in the early morning darkness. Once you reach the viewpoint, the Jeep will be parked in a perfect location, and you can climb onto the Jeep to enjoy the stunning sunrise views from the top.
The incredible natural scenery is perfect for couples, offering a rare and romantic moment to enjoy together while strengthening your bond. After experiencing the sunrise, the adventure continues with a trip through the black lava fields, where you will explore and take pictures with Mount Batur in the background.
